Pupil Voice and Pupil Houses
Our Year 4 pupils are all selected to be prefects throughout their final year at Wychbold. During the year they support the Headteacher and staff as role models for the younger pupils in the lunch hall, moving around the school and during outside play. Duties also include:
- Corridor monitors after Assembly to ensure safety and respect as pupils return to class.
- supporting staff with jobs at Lunchtime
- Representing the school
- Being role models for behaviour and attitude
All the children in Wychbold are placed in a House. These Houses meet every Tuesday and they discuss and share their school experiences. Some weeks they might be sharing a book with each other, other weeks they may be voting on something in school.
Mrs Banfield leads Pupil Voice in school and meets with Children's Champions from each House to coordinate the outcomes of the votes.
